At the OGH, we have three different dining options to suit your mood and palate. From fine dining in Governor's to casual dining alfresco during the summer months in The Olive Grove, there's something to suit every occasion.
GOVERNOR'S FINE DINING RESTAURANT
Governor's fine dining restaurant is arguably Guernsey's most romantic and intimate fine dining restaurant. Seating a maximum of fourteen people, richly adorned with pictures and memorabilia of the island’s Governors, and lavishly decorated in a bohemian style that harks back to the establishment’s illustrious past, it’s the perfect setting for a truly memorable candlelit dinner.
The cuisine more than does justice to the surroundings, with a seasonal menu that features many classic French dishes and makes excellent use of the island’s fresh catches from the surrounding seas
Alongside the A La Carte Menu, and not to be missed, is Chef's "Surprise" Menu Dégustation et Vins. Simply sit down and relax, allowing Chef and his team to create a special 7-course gourmet menu for you. Our Sommelier will then carefully select wines to complement each of the courses.
Regular patrons include members of the financial community and discerning locals, while it’s also a popular venue for hosting pre-theatre cocktail receptions and exclusive private dinners.

Set in a spacious and sunny conservatory, overlooking the peaceful private gardens, the Brasserie provides a lovely light and informal environment for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s a favourite with the local financial community and a popular meeting place for those who want to catch up with friends over a glass of wine and a light bite.

THE OLIVE GROVE
In the summer months guests also enjoy eating “al fresco” in The Olive Grove, with gorgeous sea views providing the perfect relaxing backdrop. The popular BBQ dishes, straight from the griddle, are a must on long sunny days. Equally diners can choose from The Brasserie menus or take Afternoon Tea in the gardens.
