Category: Art & Culture Dates: Saturday, 25 January 2014 to Sunday, 30 March 2014 Animal lovers visiting Guernsey should make it a priority to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which is this year taking place from January 25th until March 30th. Opening at the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery of the picturesque St Peter Port, the international display features some of the most awe-inspiring wildlife photographs taken last year, from beautiful big cats to menacing spiders. Pieces to watch out for include Greg du Toit's visually stunning image of elephants in South Africa, which he claims comes closest to capturing "their special energy and the state of consciousness" that they portray. Equally enchanting is the visual of a Siberian tiger taken by Toshiji Fukuda of Japan in the Russian wasteland.
