The Guernsey Symphony Orchestra will assemble next month (March 29th) for a rousing succession of classical music favourites featured around the idea of the World at War, in a concert to end all concerts.

Featuring the likes of Tchaikovsky’s ‘Rocco Variations’, Elgar's so-called the ‘Passionate Pilgrimage of the Soul’ and Butterworth’s ‘Banks of the Green Willow’, these incredible pieces have been put together in such a way as to evoke memories and feelings of the First World War.

Under the capable baton of guest conductor Ewa Strusiñska, the Guernsey Symphony Orchestra will conjure an evening of fast and fierce emotions that is sure to stir the heart of every audience member.

The concert takes place at St James church, easily accessible from The Old Government House Hotel and Spa, which offers a bottle of chilled Champagne in your room upon arrival to enjoy before or after the performance, as part of the Get More From Your Stay offer.
