Category: Music & Theatre Date: Saturday, 07 December 2013 This Christmas, you are invited to experience an evening that is to Christmas what chocolate eggs are to Easter on the island of Guernsey, as the Salvation Army gears up for its annual charity concert. Be prepared to hear your festive favourites, interspersed with some charming easy listening, as well as a bit of smooth jazz thrown in for good measure. Tickets cost £6 per person and warm mince pies and refreshments are available. And of course, in the spirit of Christmas, all proceeds made from the event go straight to helping the Salvation Army. The concert gets underway from 7pm at the Salvation Army Hall in St Sampsons and is expected to finish at 9pm. For your convenience, return to The Old Government House Hotel, where we can make you feel extra Christmassy as part of the Festive Guernsey offer. Indulge in a full English breakfast every day and take advantage of a festive themed dinner in The Brasserie on one evening.
