The internationally renowned concert pianist Libor Novacek will be playing a live show at Guernsey's St James Concert & Assembly Hall, with the programme set to include famous pieces by iconic composers.

Renditions of classic works from Beethoven, Brahms and Liszt will all be featured at the concert, which will provide an excellent showcase of the award-winning talents of the Czech musician.

Novacek has been compared to great masters such as Brendel, Kempff and Arrau, with his solo album recordings having received glowing critical appraisals from publications such as the Guardian and BBC Music Magazine.

He has also played alongside some of Europe's best-known orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Philharmonia and the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.

The concert promises to be a classy affair, making it ideal for luxury Guernsey hotel guests who are enjoying a Romantic Experience package at The Old Government House Hotel.

It includes a Champagne breakfast in-room or at the hotel's restaurant, plus a candlelit dinner for two and freshly-cut flowers and chocolates delivered to the room.
