Category: Music & Theatre Dates: Wednesday, 16 January 2013 to Saturday, 19 January 2013 Tongue-in-cheek theatre company Oddsocks will be staging a new production of The Adventures of Robin Hood at St James Concert & Assembly Hall next month. The show will inject a sense of madcap anarchy and comedic flair to the traditional tale of the charming Nottingham outlaw who robs from the rich, gives to the poor and wins the hand of fair Maid Marion. Attendees will be able to spend time with classic characters such as Friar Tuck, Little John and the evil, tax-hungry Sheriff of Nottingham, while enjoying amazing stunts, anachronistic jokes and a dash of audience participation. The show runs from January 16th to 19th 2013, with tickets costing £18 for adults and £14 for students. It promises to be fun for the whole family, making it perfect entertainment for luxury Guernsey hotel visitors taking advantage of the Kids Go Free offer at The Old Government House Hotel. With this deal, parents can bring their under-12 with them at no additional cost and will also be provided with unlimited movies and games console access to keep their little one entertained at all times.
