The Food and Beverage department is looking for a Chef de Rang to provide our guests with outstanding customer service.
The Old Government House Hotel in Guernsey, part of Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning five star property located in the heart of St. Peter Port with amazing views of the surrounding Channel Islands and France. This wonderful Hotel features 63 individually designed bedrooms and suites, an established bar, two restaurants and several function rooms where we are offering our guests a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
Key responsibilities of the Chef de Rang will include:
- Ensuring prompt and professional guest service
- Setting up tables and taking orders
- Be able to lead your section team and showing leadership qualities
- Run your section effectively and efficiently
- Assisting guests with every need to Hotel and Restaurant standards
- Display professional salesmanship and positive sales techniques

The ideal candidate for this Chef de Rang position should:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a four/five star hotel
- Have knowledge of food and beverage preparation

- Have a friendly, flexible and professional attitude
